news
AOK needs your help to continue raising awareness about the dangers of prescription drug and over-the-counter (OTC) medicine misuse now more than ever.
Did you know that 1 in 30 youth (age 12–17) has misused OTC cough medicine for its DXM (dextromethorphan) ingredient?
Or that 1 in 5 young adults has misused a prescription drug?
Help raise awareness of the dangers of OTC cough medicine and prescription drug misuse during National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month throughout October.
